About
Sugawara is fascinated by the magnificent life force in old trees and continues to pursue creative expression.
In this time, his fourth solo exhibition at the Galerie Taménaga Tokyo in three years, Sugawara presents approximately 40 new works, including new subjects such as Aoike, one of the Twelve Lakes in the Shirakami Mountains of Aomori Prefecture, and the nature of Yakushima Island.
